Those is proud to present the Woodpecker, a unique drawing system that brings any surface to life. The Woodpecker draws, writes and even tweets with pens, pencil and paint.
From windows to walls, ceilings to floors, the Woodpecker can be customised to fit any space to create a rich and engaging user experience.
Those designed the Woodpecker to be lightweight, totally scalable and fast enough to be interactive. We think we’ve created the fastest and lightest drawing system in its class.
How will you challenge the Woodpecker?
TV screens just don't cut it. There's something magic about a pen writing the words you've just texted or tweeted.
Draw audiences in to your space.*
Woodpecker lets your creativity run wild. Experiment beyond standard pens, pencils, and paint, with things we haven't even thought of yet.
A lightweight frame allows it to adapt to your space perfectly. Whether vertical or horizontal, Woodpecker will fit in with you.
Woodpecker talks to all your devices, we can even make it talk to your phablet if it really has to.
Woodpecker is easily controlled live with tablets & smartphones, but it doesn't stop there, use hand gestures, motion tracking or Wacom tablets.
Anyone can choose a pen, create a drawing or setup an interactive display. Our custom software modules allow for endless possibilities.
From broad brush strokes to fine lines, Woodpecker can produce designs over large areas, with the closest attention to detail.
The Woodpecker made it’s debut for Cullinan Studio’s Open House day. Positioned to greet visitors throughout the event, the Woodpecker re-created Ted Cullinan’s hand-drawn lecture describing the design and build of Ready Mix Concrete’s HQ (now CEMEX).
Throughout the day, visitors enjoyed Woodpecker drawing Ted’s sketches in perfect sync with the audio recording of his original lecture — a real-time performance that generated considerable social media engagement.
